Minecraft Earth Launches in Early Access This October

Minecraft Earth won't be stuck in beta testing much longer. Bagauc Mojang and Microsoft announced that the game's augmented-reality feature will be available in early access for some countries beginning in October. While it wasn't clear which platforms or countries would be included in the beta, it did include both iOS and Android users.



Earth is a slight departure from the original Minecraft experience. You can still create your own worlds in AR However, you can also embark on sharing Adventures that require you to face enemies and other obstacles to earn rare resources. It's essentially an extension of Minecraft that encourages you to venture out into the real world and interact with the world-building glue.
