Microsoft Teases The New Xbox Game With Popular Developer Hideo Kujima

Microsoft has announced it's partnered up with the renowned game maker Hideo Kojima, who is the director behind hit games like Metal Gear Solid and Death Stranding for the Xbox video game console. Kojima announced the partnership in a recorded message but did not offer any information about the game, its name or the date it will be released. Servers



Kojima said that it could take some time, via a translator, during the announcement. Games The popular game designer and founder of Kojima Productions is known for making sure that he makes high-quality games, which sometimes can take many years. Kojima suggested that Microsoft's cloud gaming technology would be an important part of the title, stating that it was a game that was one he "always wanted" to develop.



Microsoft's announcement came as part of its annual summer announcement event, which also included the unveiling of the brand new action game Minecraft Legends and the space adventure title Starfield which will be released in the coming year. The company also used the event to announce information about forthcoming titles such as Overwatch 2, Activision Blizzard’s online battle game, as well as Diablo 4, its next big dungeon horror game.



Kojima's team is also working on a sequel to the cult PlayStation title, Death Stranding.
