You can ask the Teahouse for information about the notability requirements.

In particular, see and refer to WP:NFF for notability, which is the guideline that the subject should be evaluated against.

This is a request for an article to be spun off. If the draft does not meet a special requirement, it should be discussed on the article's talk page. If the draft satisfies a special notability guide, please identify the notability criterion with a reliable source.

This does not mean the draft should not have been spun off. It does mean that discussion should be on the talk page of the existing article, Talk:Minecraft]. (If the draft is submitted again without discussion on the Talk:Minecraft page and does not comply with a special noteability guide, it might be Rejected or Nominated for Erasure.

Comment: The draft was rejected six weeks back because it didn't satisfy film notability, and specifically the guidelines for future movies. It still fails to meet the guidelines. This does not necessarily mean that the film won't be remembered when it comes out in the future. It is not notable at this time and is not likely to become notable in the near future. The film's history, from 2014 to at least 2021, suggests that it is still in development. There is no way to predict when it will be released. This draft has been Rejected by a reviewer in the Articles for Creation review process. DO NOT resubmit this draft or attempt to resubmit this draft or prepare or submit a draft that is substantially the same as this draft without discussing the reasons for the rejection. You can request a dialogue with the reviewing editor or request a discussion at the Teahouse with the community. A discussion will not always result in a resubmission. It is important to note that the reviewer did not decide that the topic was not worthy of consideration. A future article on this topic might be accepted. There is no reason for this draft to become an actual article. Furthermore, there is evidence that it will never become an actual article. This draft must be blown up and rewritten if there is to be an Article on this topic. If the draft is resubmitted without discussion, or if it is attempted to resubmit the draft or an equivalent draft without addressing Rejection by starting again, a partial block, or topic-ban, may be requested against the submitting Editor. You may ask for advice about Rejection at the Teahouse. Robert McClenon (talk), 19-43, 23 Juli 2020 (UTC).
