How to make Concrete in Minecraft

Craft Concrete Powder

To make Concrete Powder, you'll need:

One unit of Dye Four units of Sand Four units of Gravel Place the Dye and two units of sand in the top row of the Crafting Table. In the middle row, put two units of Sand and one unit of Gravel. In the bottom row, you can place three Gravel units.

This recipe yields eight units of Concrete Powder. Each unit makes one block. It'll come in whatever color matches the dye you used.

There is Sand on any desert or beach, as well as on the ocean floor. Gravel also appears on beaches and ocean floors and in Windswept Gravelly Hill biomes.

There are 16 shades of Dye and each color has its own recipe. Here are the recipes for the five most basic colors:

White dye: One Bone Meal, or Lily of the Valley Black dye: One ink sac or Wither Rose Red dye One poppy Red Tulips, Rose Bush, or Beetroot Blue dye One Lapis Lazuli, or Cornflower Yellow dye: One Dandelion or Sunflower Mix the Powder with water

The next step is to mix the powder with water to make it a solid concrete block.

To do this, simply put the Powder in any body of water. It will absorb the water instantly and become an concrete block.

Make the completed Concrete

Then, you can move the Concrete block by mining it.

Break the Concrete block using any pickaxe. You can take small pieces of the concrete block and put it wherever you'd like.

Once a piece of Concrete Powder turns into regular Concrete and remains that way for the rest of its life. You don't have to worry about keeping your Concrete wet. Take your concrete with you and build your home wherever it is needed.

Concrete is more vibrant than Terracotta, isn't flammable like Wool, and is nearly as durable as Stone. Concrete is an excellent choice for building a home, sculpture, or any other type of building.
